Built on the premises of former Neptune Hotel, which was popularly known as the Maha Gedara or the ancestral home of Aitken Spence Hotels. A home from which the long saga of Aitken Spence Hotels commenced to expand today to 4 countries of today.
Heritance Maha Gedara nestles among the delicate fragrance of frangipane, and perfumed by the jasmine growing among the palm trees which has enhanced the atmosphere of meditation & yoga on this palm thatched land.
The 64 luxury roomed Ayurvedic Village designed and improved upon by the world renowned Architect Vinod Jayasinghe will provide a memorable, relaxing, and healing experience to the discerning traveler.
Hidden among the wild hibiscus the rooms that have area ranging from 300 to 500 sq.ft. with attached baths have all luxury & modern amenities which include 3 different types of soap, for washing oil, soothing the skin and washing the body.
The quiet private therapy rooms nestling discreetly among the coconut palms would provide the necessary location to rejuvenate the stressed body & soul. The nimble fingers of the experience therapist would rub the traditional oils gently in natural harmony as taught by their farther and forefathers before them.
